Spring Into Fitness with NexGym’s Newest Challenge

National Fitness Day is May 3rd, and NexGym is helping you celebrate with a brand-new challenge. 

During the month of May, Play Pass holders are invited to participate in the Spring Into Fitness event. Here’s everything you need to know to jump into the active challenge.

NexGym Spring Into Fitness Challenge Details

The newest NexGym event follows in the footsteps of the New Year Challenge — but this time the focus is cardio. 

Get beach-ready, or just up your stamina for summer playdates, as you progress through 10 days of cardio moves. Each day builds on the last, upping the challenge as you go. It’s the perfect way to get your heart pumping without ever leaving your living room.

Here are a few things to keep in mind:

  • While anyone with Play Pass can participate in the challenge, rewards will only be sent to US residents.

  • The 10 days of the challenge must be completed before May 31st to qualify for the reward.

  • Only one reward per participant (but your kids can also receive the reward if they complete it with you).

  • After completing the challenge, you must scan the QR code and submit the survey to receive your reward.

Add to Your NexGym Patch Collection

We kicked off this year with the New Year, Active You Challenge reward patch, so we’re keeping the trend for our Spring challenge. 

Complete all 10 days and earn a new iron-on patch for your collection. But be sure to leave room — 2 more challenges (and patches) will be coming later this year. Want to end 2025 with a full slate? Make sure you get in all 10 cardio days this May.

But don’t worry if you missed out on January’s challenge. It’s always a good time to jump in and take charge of your health. The patch is just that extra little cherry on top.  ;)

How to Get Started

The NexGym Spring Into Fitness Challenge kicks off in May, just ahead of National Fitness Day.

If you’re ready to get your heart pumping, here’s how to participate:

  1. Turn on Playground and select NexGym.

  2. Choose the Spring Into Fitness Cardio Challenge tile.
    (Don’t see the tile? The challenge is only available in Solo Mode, so make sure you only have 1 profile selected.)

  3. Select “Jump In” and complete your first day’s workout.

You can only complete one challenge workout a day, but you have the entire month of May to complete all 10 days. So don’t worry if you need a couple of recovery days. Rest up, then jump back in to earn your reward.

Once you finish the final workout, you’ll see an exclusive QR code. Scan this with your phone’s camera, then fill out the survey so we can send you your Spring patch.

Get Fit, Earn Rewards

Whether your weeks are full of playground visits, sports practices, or chasing toddlers, this challenge will get you in Summer shape (while also rewarding you for getting active).
